It’s wrong that so many great horror movies don’t get the physical release they deserve, and the problem is not the lack of an audience. Horror fans are more passionate than ever about physical media and are hungry to add exciting new horror movies to their growing collections.

We’ve been saddened so see so many fantastic indie horror movies fade into obscurity due to a poor digital release or a lacklustre DVD with a terrible cover that completely misrepresents the film.

Dazed, downtrodden and mistreated, the weary filmmaker can either give in to the ridiculous demands of a predatory sales agent or worse, they upload their film to YouTube for free, undermining all the hard work of the cast and crew and losing any sense of prestige their film deserves.

When we started producing feature films back in 2015, we did it with the dream of one day seeing a physical copy of our movie amongst our Blu-ray collection. We were lucky enough to realise that dream and with the launch of our Dark Rift Presents Blu-ray label, we can can help you do the same.

What DO we do?

  • A Hand-numbered, Limited Edition run of your movie as a premium, collector’s edition Blu-ray (300 to 500 copies) signed by the director and key cast members

  • Sell your movie exclusively via our online shop to UK and USA customers and in person at selected horror festivals and conventions

  • Work with you to create packaging and disk contents that best represent your movie including bonus features

What DON’T we do?

  • Manufacture large runs of your movie (500+ copies)

  • Release Blu-ray’s without any bonus features

  • Sell your movie via retail stores (HMV, Amazon etc)

  • Sell your movie to countries outside of the UK and USA

  • Change your movie’s artwork or repackage the movie without your permission

So what’s the catch?

We can’t guarantee financial success. But we can guarantee fair treatment, clear communication, transparent accounting, realistic projections and a marketing and release strategy that you are fully on-board with. No surprises, no hidden costs and no hidden expenses!

We will work with you to:

• Develop a release and marketing strategy that fits your film

• Agree on the disk contents and bonus features

• Design and approve all marketing materials (no sudden re-branding, it’s all under your control)

• Agree on all expenses upfront (disk manufacturing, BBFC ratings, merchandise etc)

• Provide realistic projections of returns

• Advise on additional strategies such as festival submissions, digital releases and international sales
